The latter being Chiles national tree and able to live for more than 1'000 years.
The climate is also ideal for winter activities. Ski-slopes are lying just 25 km away from 'La SuizAndina', downhill skiers delight in the quality of the snow. Untouched slopes with virgin snow are easily accessible, making a ski-tour or a walk with snow shoes an unforgettable experience.
