Las Salamandras - Coyhaique
The Salamandras hostal is located in a forest near the banks of the Simpson river in Coyhaique. It is a two floor wooden building with terraces and plenty of outside areas. There is a spacious living room with loft area for TV and video. Firewood stove, outdoor hot tub and internet, library and map library make this a cosy and practical area. There is an open kitchen available for all guests and a laundry service.

Location
Take the road south out of Coyhaique towards Balmaceda. After the last gas station take the paved road to the right which descends to the Simpson river and on to the Aeródromo Teniente Vidal. 50 ms after the bridge over the rio Simpson there is a sign, follow the dirt track to the right for about 300m. From the plaza in town it is 3 km. It is an easy walk.
